Yes it’s addressable
It’s an HFPO-11.
I couldn’t tell because your photo was taken at the perfect angle to not be able to see the lettering clearly.
I recently saw a Reddit post where an insect was trapped inside a Wheelock Exceder STW. One of the replies suggested setting off the alarm to blast the insect, without realizing it was a remote strobe. Unfortunately, I cannot find the post.
Thanks! There is a building near me that has a Siemens system with those detectors, but I could never find any information about them online.
They’re also Siemens FirePrint detectors. Same difference.
Hey isn’t the Faraday MPC-6000 capable of doing multiple coding patterns for NACs?
That’s nothing. One of the Honeywell S464As I got had a Dead Spider Corpse or 2 along with the web on the Handle. I love Spiders and all, but dead ones on Fire Alarms, that’s a big no no.
Then I’ll just give you the zns with ladybugs ![]()
They’re 1st year rebranded too
WAIT WHAT!!! NOOOOOOO!!! I don’t want Ladybugs in My Fire Alarm. ![]()

A few years ago, I purchased a U-MCS strobe that arrived with three live moths stuck behind the lens. The moths were completely unbothered when I blasted them with compressed air in an attempt to dislodge them. These strobes are fortunately easy to disassemble from the back—they consist of two boards that snap into place—, so I carefully took it apart and evicted the moths. I’m particularly baffled as to how those moths ended up inside the strobe as this was a new device (no box, but never installed).
Z-series devices may be a bit trickier to disassemble without causing any damage.
That’s indeed what those indentations are for. Wheelock refers to these screws as “optional securing screws”.
I was joking lmaoooooo
Well how about that…(even the way I described them is pretty close to what the manufacturer says!)
So mine had the screw already in but the ones from the Public Safety Building didn’t.
So I guess you could poke a hole with a screw and it’ll go right in. I also didn’t know the top part was a screw hole either.
I also say we save electrical stuff, Receptacles, switches, Panels, breakers etc. as I love them, I have almost 100 of them!
But also life safety equipment and HVAC equipment.
Yeah: no harm in saving stuff from related systems like general electrical, HVAC, plumbing, & elevators too.
Nice. Ok! I am so glad you feel we should save those too!
So you wanna join TAFATP?
Yes. I will join. I’m excited
What if the TAFATP would also save digital content like software, voice messages, tones, manuals, etc.
