Basically, at 3:00, someone on the 8th floor decided it’d be funny to pull the alarm. They were wrong.
This is video is very useful for fire drills.
Why were the smaller Genesis AVs flashing? Aren’t those local horns?
Genesis strobes do have a horn grille.
Ahh, all right. I thought they were horn strobes which wouldn’t have made much sense because all AV genesis signals I know of are 2-wire.
What does being two wire have to do with it being a strobe or horn/strobe?
The beeping that it makes between the messages is very creepy and I would be very perturbed if they woke me up at 3 in the morning. It sounds like a heart monitor.
I initially thought it was a horn strobe because of the grille, and I was confused because the central system was a speaker system.
So if they WERE horn strobes, the horns would initially blare when the system first sounded until they intercepted the “silence” command/sync coding. Which would have made no sense. But that’s just me not owning a Genesis and realizing the strobe and horn/strobe units both have horn grilles.

Ah ok, I get what you meant now.
