What Sirens does your city Have?

Wow! That looks simlar to mine! It’s inactive as well and also hope to aquire it. Nice find!

I found my siren. Thanks! The crazy thing is though, our siren is located in a different town!

Even more amusing, most French sirens port, sound like a STL-10 (50Hz moment), with a few exceptions (say hello to the Constructions Électriques du Nord 10 port sirens).

The R3P itself despite being 8 ports is slightly lower pitched due to the tight rotor tolerances, also making it louder:

(a friend of mine recorded an identical Cicca siren)

Nice! It does sound like that. Here is a very simalar siren company that someone I knew worked for! This is a Sentry 10V Sentry 10V Siren Test Strattanville, PA 4/8/23 (Skip to 0:48)

Oh yeah those, heh, I always thought they looked funny with the uneven horns..

Funny enough, there’s two Fedelcode model 5s known to exist in France, and there’s what’s suspected to be an heavily modified STH-10A near me, however it’s unconfirmed, I just know it’s in a small town called Cempuis.. One of my friends think it’s a CEN 8 port siren with square horns, but unless I go there in person to confirm we won’t know for sure.

Based on how those horned are angled with the rotor, you friend might be right. Look at the horn placement on the STH-10 vs. that siren.

I guess that’s settled, I found this other picture, and if you crop it a little bit…

There we go:

Comparing it to the NP3S I filmed in Lamorlaye:

Oh well, I’m a bit disappointed but at the same time, I’m glad to finally know what it is, it’s been bugging me since the past month.
