The key is broken and half of it is stuck inside the lock. Otherwise the middle lock part would be much darker colored.

A better name for this would be the mini-door bell.

Mini doorbell? That device is much larger than a normal doorbell.

Lol. I call my 4004 annoying. It throws troubles for no reason at all. Literally. It just starts screaming randomly.

I once saw a page that had a wacky name for Stopper covers: “pre-alarm squawk boxes”.

It looks like a mobile phone to me. Wheelock actually originally advertised these as being roughly the size of a cell phone.

Massive Apple AirTag, but with an Air sniffer.

Does the strobe get longer with each false alarm?

Similarly, does the tip of the System Sensor 1400 ionization detector get longer every time it falsely smells smoke? That might explain why it’s so long. Nobody knows why the 2400 photoelectric detector is so long.

In case anyone is curious and doesn’t already know, that’s a Simplex smoke/CO combo with 520hz sounder (hence the bigger piezo and “sniffer” on the side.)

Or it’s a massive Apple airtag. I like that better.
