Hello everyone. My panel that I have made goes into alarm when the circuit is closed. How can I use a relay to change the N.C. coming from sensors to N.O. that the panel accepts.

Thanks!

You will probably need to run power through the N/C contact on the fire device to the coil of a N/O relay. When the power to the coil drops the relay should close and set your panel off.

All relays are shown de-energized. When power is applied, the new relay will automatically open and will only close when connectivity through the zone is lost, whether by a device activating or the wires being damaged. Keep in mind that all devices on the zone must be connected in series for the zone to work.
