A Simplex Security System?

I saw this on Reddit. Does anyone know more about Simplex’s history with security systems? Based on what others have found, it appears to be a rebranded DMP product.

I don’t know much about Simplex’s history in the security side of the industry, but I do know that they’ve also rebranded devices from Detection Systems, Inc. & Moose Products, Inc. as well: this keypad is a rebranded Detection Systems DS7447E, while this panel is a rebranded Moose Z1100 (the latter with a Simplex-rebranded Moose Z1100R keypad as well).

I remember simplex making a security system called the 3001. A building I go to sometimes has some simplex door contacts.
