Apparently Ademco no longer makes the transformer. Any other ideas on transformers that will work?
I will need help with finding the programmer, as the panel does not seem to have any programming on it.
The manual says that programming is optional on page 1-2, but says it is required on page 2-4. Can someone please clarify this?

This version of the panel should work right out of the box with default settings.
However, I’m starting to wonder if your panel is actually a standard 7720PLUS. A line from the 7720PLUS manual:
[quote] If the 7720PLUS has not been programmed, regardless of configuration, the LEDs will blink in unison indefinitely. [/quote]Double check the model # of your panel. There seems to be a major difference here.

I’m pretty sure it’s the ULFPLUS, unless the wrong panel was put in the cabinet.
Also, on page 2-6, the manual says
Which is weird, because like you said, on page 1-2, it says,
Why does it have to be this complicated?!
Have you tried using the enter key to select between Zone mode and EPS after powering it up? I believe you only have a 2 second window to do this, and coming back from plugging it in you might be missing it. Not sure if it will help but it’s something to try.
In all honesty, I’m at a loss. Regardless of what the manual says, it’s flashing the code for not programmed so that seems to be the case.
It’s looking likely that you’re gonna have to get a programmer before you can use this thing.
My dad wants me to ask if there is a more current version of the programmer that’s cheaper. Is there, or is the 7720P the only one?
According to Honeywell’s website, the 7720P is the most current programmer. If you watch eBay closely, you might be able to get one at a lower price.
