2901-9833+2903-9101 in continuous - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7YDd5Nm-rA

I posted one more. It’s a Space Age AV-34 strobe plate with an FOS 6120.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRYyrEOoLj0 - What sounds like Wheelock AS/MT and System Sensor MASS plus SpectrAlert classic alarms in “General Alarm” coding.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lULTdBc9oA - 10" bell and electromechanical horn/strobes in continuous.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--c4kEz-G9U - Brief sounding of a SpectrAlert classic alarm in code-3.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InajoGDor08 - (EXPLICIT LANGUAGE) In the beginning, is what looks like a Simplex 2901-9838 horn on a 4904-9101 strobe plate sounding in code-3.

I don’t think that’s general alarm. General alarm is 7 1-second blasts followed by 1 3-second blast.

Actually, if you pause it at 5 seconds, you can see it’s actually lit up, making it either a 4903-9001 or a 2903-9001 plate.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGSx00lVubI - A siren which holds at a steady wail, before dying down at the end.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOA-jJzywlM - Simplex 9838 alarms in continuous, and Wheelock NS horn/strobes in code-3.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CXk-pC417Y - (EXPLICIT LANGUAGE) Between the beginning and middle of the video, Wheelock AS/MT horn/strobes are set off in code-3.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVkacD0gilk - (3:21 to the end) Smoke detector in code-3.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nprHL-_bvbk - (EXPLICIT LANGUAGE; 1:49-1:55) Do not try this at home; these individuals play with fire and set off a smoke detector…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNu88NEpTcQ - Fire drill demonstration, w/ a hi-lo sounder and strobe during the beginning portion.

Simplex 4903 horn/strobes in code-3.

General alarm is the emergency coding on cruise ships. It is sounded by the ship’s whistle and alarm system, which could be bells or horns or sounders of some kind, or simply a tone on the intercom. I remember this from when we were on the Carnival Victory back in 2008 for a cruise to Canada, and I heard this during the lifeboat drill before we set sail (it is a regulation), the ship had the latter kind of alarm (tone on the intercom) synced up with the ship’s whistle.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz6gE5xbPI8 - (:36 to the end) Wheelock NS and SpectrAlert Advance horn/strobes in code-3 (unsynced horn).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i109CJF3bw - (mild language) During the beginning, you will hear electromechanical horn/strobes behind what look like Space Age series strobe plates in continuous.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTj8JQhJaI0 - (bad quality) Piezos in code-3.

Those are Amseco BZ-54 Motor horns. The second one in the lobby is almost a dead giveaway. And yes, they are supposed to sound like that.

When I first heard the one in the stairway, I thought it was a U-HN horn because it sounded so healthy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI40HXVJOKU - (EXPLICIT LANGUAGE; 3:49 to the end) Another dimwit plays with fire and sets off a smoke detector in code-3…
