A supermarket in my area went out of business. Another supermarket later opened up in the old location and has been open for two years. It is using the same fire alarm system. Up front the annunciator still displays the name of the old supermarket.

Whether the name is changed or not won’t affect reliability of the FA system, so why bother spending extra time (and money maybe) changing it
A restaurant near me changed its name and actually updated its display name.
Most won’t change it. Most times, it requires reprogramming. If you installed the system yourself, great, I’ve done that many times. But when you have a panel you didn’t program or don’t know how, it becomes harder. Plus expensive for the supermarket to have someone reprogram a name.
