I got a (more specifically 2) Pyrotronics HAC-120 AC Horns but for some reason they have Positive and Negative Wires in them.
Do I apply DC Power to the Red and Black Wires? Or do I apply AC Power to it?
AC power is needed ofc.
No you should definitely use AC power. Hook the positive to the hot and the negative to the neutral. It probably doesn’t matter, but just do that to be safe.
Ok. I find it weird how it says Positive and Negative on the Wires instead of Hot and Neutral.
Yeah it’s definitely weird. They probably just did that because they share most of the components with the DC horns and it’s cheaper to not change anything.
