Would it be possible to allow for an auto translate feature that is similar to the way that YouTube can translate comments that are not in your native language?
You could screenshot, select text, and translate. (On iOS at least) It’s a bit more work tho
Discourse has a plugin for this, I’ll share it with the site admins.

Update: I haven’t looked into it heavily yet, but it looks like the most affordable option is going to be to handle translation via LibreTranslate which I can self host, rather than handling a per-request charge on each translate. I’ve tested it out lightly for accuracy. It’s not quite on par with Google or Azure Translate, however it seems reasonable for our current needs. And of course, if we find too many inaccuracies in the future we could always switch.
