I got ahold of an Autocall 4007ES that I removed from a school when they expanded and we upgraded the system. It has 2 pulls and 16 smokes connected to it. I was able to get into programming but I did something and now when it boots, it says MASTER CRASH Crash 34.
Anyone on here able to help me get it fixed? I am trying to get it to boot as factory default.
MASTER CRASH 34 stands for CRASH_CFIG_FMT - Invalid Config Format.
This indicates that you attempted to build a job file with a different version of programmer than the MasterBin version on the panel.
You will need to find the original MasterBin rev (should be on the back of the CPU board, assuming it has not been already upgraded). If you have a backup of the original configuration file on the panel, this will also tell you the rev.
You must have a matching MasterBin rev and Autocall Programmer Rev. I would highly discourage trying to upgrade the MasterBin/other firmware on the panel itself, as there is a very high risk of permanently bricking your CPU.
is that bottom number on the prom what you are talking about?
I took this out of a school. We dont install Autocall systems. I was hoping to program the system through the front panel like we do for other simplex panels and not have to habe software.
Unfortunately you do need the programming software. This is a blue board CPU which is capable of system recovery (in a messed up state like this), but I am not familiar with that process unfortunately.
