I have 3 of these and I am trying to find a PDF of the Manual so I can wire it to My Simplex 2903 but haven’t found one.
Any Idea where I can find one?
Here is a Picture of what the 4261-706 looks like.

Wow is that a rare detector: good luck trying to find any documentation on that! (sorry, but obviously the rarer something is the less chance there is of there being documentation available for it online)
Oh. I had no idea these things were rare.
Oh you better believe they are: I can’t find one single Google search result for them! (heck I’d say that pre-JCI Autocall equipment in general is rare to find)
Crazy that I have 3 Extremely Rare Detectors that aren’t on the Internet!
Yeah, I think your out of luck. You can keep them (I strongly suggest you do), but you could also probably make a pretty penny selling those on eBay.
Looks like there is a diagram here (sorry for the rotated picture) underneath that wire.
Based on what I can read:
The red wires are positive power in and out. The black wires are negative power in and out. The grey wire is positive feed for an optional remote annunciator. The detector won’t work directly with the 2903 without a panel. You can connect both devices to your Autocall panel easily. One pair of red and black will go on the zone terminals, keeping polarity straight. The other pair on the smoke detector will either connect to another smoke detector’s red and black or connect to the EOL resistor. Instead, you could remove the output wires from detector terminals 3 and 4 and put the EOL across those terminals. I dont have my manual with me but I can give you the exact terminals later. The 2903 will connect to one of the NAC circuits.
Oh yeah, didn’t even notice that: that should certainly help I think!
I’m not sure they have an Autocall panel or even any kind of FACP at all.
He has an Autocall/Federal Signal panel I gave to him. Not sure that he has it powered up yet.
I have. But I haven’t tested a Detector yet with it yet.
Oh, okay: had no idea that was the case.
Well, I’d say there’s no better way to test it (as well as those detectors) than with detectors made by the same company as the panel & ones that may have been meant for use with it too!
I did Power it on, but when I Connected My Gentex Commander 3’s Positive to 2 and Negative to 22 like what the Manual said to do, the Commander 3 didn’t turn on for reasons unclear. But the Panel does work. I even discovered that it is one of the Rare Panels capable of 90 Bpm March Time!
Edit: It’s actually 120 BPM. I accidentally misheard it as 90 BPM.
Would I put the Positive Wire of the Detector in Terminal 7 and the Negative Wire of the Detector in Terminal 4?
Yes that is correct for the smoke detector. The Commander on terminals 2 and 22 won’t activate until there is an alarm on one of the four zones. You can put a manual station on 8 and 11, zone 2.
Would I put the EOL Resistor on H+ and H- of the Commander?
Yes, that is correct.
