At my school, a new T-Bar was installed in 2013-ish. I’m about 5’ and it was installed higher than me. This is in a school that had its system upgraded in 2007.

the actuator on the pull station should be 42"-48" from the floor. schools are home of the cheapest of the cheap though, it’s rare you find quality - or qualified people doing the work.

I meant that the bottom of the pull was higher than 5’.
