Update: We got 1st in both percussion and music and 2nd overall for the AAA class (the more a’s, the bigger the band).

good to see another performing arts person on here! I’m not in band but I am in orchestra, and I have a performance coming up, which consists of:

  • Mozart’s Serenade No. 13 K. 525 (more commonly known as Eine Kleine Nachtmusik)
    • This includes both the first movement (Allegro) and second movement (Romance, Andante)
  • Gerald Finzi’s Eclogue, Op. 10
  • Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium (arranged for strings)

*Serenade No. 13 and Eclogue are not arrangements and are performed as originally written in 1787 and 1949 respectively : )

First Comp Already? Wow, mine is 2 weekends from now… Congratulations on the 2nd Place btw… Its nice to see that there is another Enthusiast in Marching Band lol…
