Has people received brand new Simplex A/V devices that come out of the box with scratched or cloudy lens on the strobe from it rubbing on the plast
Oops… didn’t finish.
From rubbing in the plastic packaging?
I have several brand new devices like this.
Have people come across this?
Can anything be done other than returning them?
Has anyone come up with a good way to clean the lens?
This has to effect the candela rating and light intensity the strobe can provide.
Im not a Simplex guy, but this seems like a bad packaging design.
Any help would be appreciated.
Not surprised at all that Simplex’s quality control has fallen that much given who their current owner is (at least if that’s the cause of damaged lenses).
