BRK SS718 found by @The09Creeper

It’s official, @The09Creeper has found a BRK SS718 inside of a building with a commercial fire alarm system. James’s video is linked.

Ok I have a few things I want to clear up, I don’t know how much you have seen but this is the story. The first thing is I was the one who found the SS718, I made it a surprise when I went to meet up with him. The second thing is there was only one SS718 found, there were 2 other smoke alarms (2 1839Ns). Lastly, he hasn’t found anyone yet to make a plan for acquiring it. James is trying to find an owner or manager to hopefully make plans to get it.

Oh sorry, I will edit the post

Thanks for correcting me on this matter.

Let me guess: this is big news because the SS718 is one of the rarest BRK detectors known to exist.

No, it actually isn’t. It’s extremely rare and one of the first residential smoke alarms on the market. The rarest BRK smoke alarm I know of is the SS729ACS With a metal shell.

The reason why it’s big news is because it’s pretty rare and it’s @PhotoElev favorite smoke alarm.

Oh, okay. Still big news for sure though, yeah.

Infact, it’s his ‘holy grail.’

Again, I’m sorry that I miscredited. I was just tryna spread the news

Aren’t smoke alarms supposed to be changed after 10 years? James might be able to obtain it by notifying them of this obvious issue and offering to buy a new one.

They are. Good tactic for making sure those old, rare, & irreplaceable ones are preserved too.
