Is there some adjustment that can be made to increase the speed at which a Gamewell box cycles? My display box, bell and tapper are up and running, but the cycle speed of the box is really slow.

Is it a powered box or a wind up box? If powered, make sure you are supplying the proper voltage to it. If it’s a wind up type, it should be wound tight. They operate slower as the spring unwinds.

Thanks for taking the time to reply! It’s a windup. A friend of mine from the job, mentioned “weights” as a possible solution. We worked together for many years, and he’s pretty sharp. He said where we worked, the town used, and I’m not sure I remember how he phrased it, but 25%. Our boxes were all windups, and they use to click the circuit pretty quick. I don’t really want to pull my unit apart to investigate, but I may look around for a “junker” mechanism that I can dissect. Again, thanks for your input!
