Where I am it is dangerous to be outside because of wildfire smoke. Currently there are over 200 wildfires out of control. We have to stay outside and limit time outside. It looks like fog, you can’t even see half a mile.
Anyone else experiencing this or live in Canada?

Where I’m at we experienced it yesterday pretty heavily but today it’s supposed to lighten up.
I sure am. Since I can’t drive yet, I have to go everywhere by bike. My mom wants me to wear a mask while I ride bc the air quality sucks

I live in Ontario, next to the Quebec border, and we’ve had a few days with poor air quality since the beginning of June. Last Sunday was particularly bad, with high Air Quality Health Index readings for much of the day:
The haze seemed incredibly dense on that day:
For my area, the typical amount of fine particulate matter in the air is apparently below 11 PM2.5. On Sunday, at its peak, it was just above 300 PM2.5. At one point earlier this month, it exceeded 500 PM2.5. I’m lucky as I haven’t experienced any health-related issues (so far)—many seem to be dealing with difficulties caused by the air quality.
