Cannot find key for Gamewell fire box

I cannot find a key for my Gamewell fire box. I bought it at a flea market in Massachusetts in the late 80s. It has no internal parts and the lock appears to work just fine. But I’ve tried several keys available on eBay and cannot find one that fits. The keyhole is 1/4 inch long and 3/16 inch wide. I’ve included some photos, any help would be appreciated.

Did you lose it? Or did it not come with thhne bo.

This is the key that will most likely work

You could also replace the key mechanism with a modern one with a modern key. also, thats a good find from a flea market.

Welcome to the forums! I haven’t got a response. The easy thing is to replace it with a modern keyswitch.

I’ve already tried that one. It is too wide.

It never came with one.

I’m thinking about cutting one out from sheet metal.

Do you have the right tools?

Have you tried a simplex B key?

I’m trying to get into a fire alarm box too but mine is slightly different to yours

You COULD just pick the lock, but also where did you get a gamewell fire box dude those are EXPENSIVE AF

A friends mother bought it at a garage sale, and when she passed my friend was getting rid of it and knew I liked it so she gave it to me, it’s in good condition except for the fact I can’t open it
