You know, I’m fairly certain I saw the Ebay lot that light plate comes from a while back: no clue why the seller didn’t have the light socket for it, but still cool (& rare!) for sure.
yea it was the Lot listing for a 120v beige simplex horn, standard plate (no bulbs) with a grey wheelock 34-24, red lens exide plate (no bracket, socket/bulb), and a clear lens exide plate (with bracket, no bulb/socket [mine]).
i got the seller’s discord and privately bought the clear lens exide plate and 34 24 horn. i later sold the 34 24 to a friend and recently bought the faraday 5630 (simplex 4051). while im aware there are .1a and .2a versions, faraday considers the .1a “low drain” (lets be real .1a is more desired). also, .1a is generally more low pitch while .2a is more high pitch. i have a gamewell 66857 thats .2a
back on topic, i bought a socket privtely, and used the bulb from my jenkins bell/light as a temporary solution. a regular 2w bulb is on the way.
and yea the 5630 was nib ![]()
Ah, yep, that’s the lot I thought it was.
No clue where you would have gotten a socket that matched it perfectly (if not outright the exact same kind of socket it would have), but alright, good for you I guess, heh.
