I’d like to test some of my AC devices using my Couch F650 coded pull station, but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to wire it.
Mine has red, yellow, and blue wires. Which wires should I use as the hot and neutral?
I did lurk around on the forums, but I only found something about connecting it to a supervisory contact, which I don’t have.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn’t connect that to 120vac. I bet it will cause a direct short when activated. You can check the wiring with a meter. If it’s a coded station then it operated on a DC Mculloch loop and pulsed open the circuit depending on the device address. If you are trying to activate 120vac bells or horns, then you should use a relay. Do not connect both a hot and a neutral to that station.
Duly noted. Yep, it’s a coded pull station (address 2-6-2-2) All it has is a code wheel, and no supervisory apparatus.
Mine does say it can operate on 125VAC or DC, but I’ll have to check the label again to be sure. (will update later today) Otherwise, I’ll look into getting a relay, and figuring out how to wire it from there. Thanks!
Also, what is a “DC Mculloch loop?”
I think I somewhat understand what it is. I’ve seen other enthusiasts on YouTube run theirs without a relay, though, just a step-down transformer…
EDIT: I should also add that I have some step-down transformers coming next week, so I’ll be able to run low-voltage AC devices.
Update:
I can confirm that my coded pull is capable of running on 125V AC and DC, 0.25 Amps.
