Was scrolling on TikTok when I saw this. Definitely a simplex system with a custom message. Whoever recorded the message did an amazing job, it is well worded, concise and crystal clear.
That’s very interesting. The message script is pretty similar to the one that my school’s Siemens system uses, except it’s for a hotel.
What tone does the Siemens system use?
It uses a few second continuous tone- I think around 1100hz.
Makes sense— I have never heard any tone on a XLS/Cerberus Pro that wasn’t the temporal 900hz tone
Yeah it’s definitely a custom tone that the installers uploaded. The system does do the 900hz temporal tone along with the standard female message when in a fire alarm.
