Default Admin 1 code for Silent Knight 6700 firmware version 7.00.08 (June 2023)

We are a systems integrator. The firmware update just came out in July. Seems like no one knows the code, and we updated a new panel with 7.00.08. We contacted well over 100 people and no one knows. They said they haven’t used that firmware yet. It’s just weird and two panels do the same thing. Just can’t change the default admin code
Maybe try contacting them again? It makes no sense no one would have the code.
The same thing happened to us when they upgraded the Kidde VS and we didn’t have the software for the new panel. We just had to make a few calls to our Kidde representative and they helped us fairly quickly.
Since I couldn’t find this information anywhere in the wild, here is the new Admin password changes for Silent Knight. There are 2 versions of the new firmware on panels floating around, one of them (the latest) has the option to change all passwords to the same thing at one shot (referenced in the email below), the other does not.

Answer / Solution
For user and admin profiles:
- Press ENTER at the main screen.
- Select Login Menu.
- Select the Admin 1 profile.
- Enter the current Admin code, press ENTER. (By default, all 0s, 7 digits)
- Select option 2 “Edit Profiles”.
- Re-enter the current Admin code and press ENTER; the panel will verify it.
- Scroll down to the profile you want to change the code of (Profile 2 - Installer, Profile 3 - Multi site, or Profile 19 - Admin 1), press ENTER.
- Select Edit Access Code.
- Input the new code and verify it. The new code has to have 7 digits in total and it can not be sequential in order (e.g. 1234567, 7654321) or all the same number (e.g. 111111).
- Once the new code is set, press the LEFT arrow key to escape back to the main screen. Save changes when prompted.
- Repeat this process for any other profiles you wish to change the code of.
For computer access:
- Press enter on the panel
- Go to login menu.
- Enter the current Admin code, press ENTER. (By default, all 0s, 7 digits)
- Go to computer access
- Computer access 123456 will be blinking. Enter a new password and hit enter. The new account number has to have 6 digits in total and it can not be sequential in order (e.g. 123456, 654321) or all the same number (e.g. 1111111).
- Press enter. Computer code 0 will start to flash. Press the left arrow key and save changes.
NOTE: From version 7.00.12 onwards, changing the admin password will prompt a screen asking if we want to update the password for all profiles. If accepted, the password will automatically be assigned for profiles 2 and 3. The computer access number will be updated as well, having the last character cut off (e.g. from a code 2376431, computer access number will show as 237643)
If the current Admin code is not available or if it is forgotten, a Password Agreement form will need to be filled out, signed and notarized by the owner of the system, then sent to Technical Support to be able to unlock the system.
