Anyone here like vintage railroad stuff? Vintage railroad crossings? Wig Wags?
I have since last summer. I was on a call with my friend editing a Roblox game, and he inserted a railroad crossing pack. Low and behold, two wig wags were present. And so I made it my goal to make one that was better and simpler.
While doing that, I accidentally fell into a few rabbit holes that resulted in me making a map with over 250 wig wags. I also planned to make a website about wig wags, but I don’t want any competition with Dan’s Wig Wag Site.
I did so much studying into it that I found some old prints of the Magnetic Signal catalogs from 1922, 1924, and 1940. I even found one from the Florida East Coast, and possibly even from the CR&NW in Alaska and the OR&LC in Hawaii.
I might get into Griswold Rotating Banner signals soon, or maybe Alder Rotating Disk signals.
