I’m attempting to troubleshoot a door magnet hold line on a Simplex 4002. I’m a novice on these older type panels (more of an electrician) I’ve been given the task of maintaining older type panel in the school system I work at. Anyhelp would be appreciated and thanks in advance. If more info is need I can get that if it will help
I wish I knew how our 4002’s door mag system worked. But the mags were retrofitted in a year or two ago onto an EST booster and before that the doors were motorized shut. I would be willing to bet that they’re tied into an external relay that is triggered by the 4002 though
Thank you for the reply… I’ve been checking for broken/cut wires but havent found anything. I did notice a fuse F5 AUX 1 relay blown 3amp , unsure if thats it but the only this I can see that could cause some type issue .
