I have seen a couple CPX-551s in person but not the SDX-551. Oregon is weird when it comes to alarms. Ion detectors were more popular then photoelectric back in the 80s and 90s to the point I know of 3 Simplex systems with Simplex rebranded 1400s. I also seen more Simplex systems with Wheelock devices then Notifier systems with Wheelock devices. 2903s here are close to extinction. I know if 2 systems that had them but one of them was replaced by Spectralert Advances and one of them the building got demolished.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find it at all. Looking to get a 2903 but with all the scalping and price gouging going on with those, I might not get one unless I can pull one from a building but 2903s are non existent in my state.
Thankfully the 2903 seems to be easier to come by these days. I remember when I started collecting over 6 years ago you couldn’t find a 2903 light plate, and if you did find one, it didn’t have a horn or the light/strobe parts.
