I have recently acquired two edwards 271-SPO pull stations, but notice both of them have slightly different logos on the front. Would anyone know what year period these were made based on the slightly differing logos?
the one on the left is weathered more so its probably older, you should try to find a date code on one or both of the pulls
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there are date codes anywhere on the devices. I do notice however, that the one on the left has patent numbers, and the one on the right as absolutely no patent numbers printed on the device.

I have looked the patent numbers up its the same number printed on all their devices even the newer ones its dated from 1955, but the one on the right doesnt have any patent numbers printed on it.

I’ve been trying to figure this out too! I probably own the most 270-SPOs on this site (A whopping 50 or 60+), and I have one that has a slightly larger Older shield logo. I’ve assumed they were made before the 60s, as Edwards came out with the newer shield logo around 1967 or so.
