I have a question to start. We installed this outlet above a pool table in my grandparents basement for a light above the pool table. It is mounted on a 4-inch circular light fixture box using an adapter plate. It works and is solid, but it doesn’t look the best. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it look better? Replacing the electrical box is out of the question, as we would rather just leave it like this than go though the effort to do that.

As for your outlet, have you considered an “in floor” round outlet cover? Of course this isn’t a floor, but should fit the bill for a nicer look!
