I need the EST2 slow whoop. Anyone here have the EST2 slow whoop wav file?
I think if you provided a video example we’d have a better idea of what exactly you’re talking about.
I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ8lEZ9BP4w&list=PLg7-YgL612wgXL9Q5dHfn0_f03tI0pMKp
Yeah, I thought that’s the whoop the OP was talking about. I don’t think it’s on the Edwards Signaling website like most of their other sounds are, but you can have a look in case I happened to miss it:
Edwards Signaling - Product Documents & Software (edwards-signals.com)
This is what the EST2 slow whoop sounds like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-r3dG3GPj8&t=21s
I want the raw wav file of it.
It’s not on the Edwards signaling website.
I also found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOee23HlyNA&t=206s
hilo2 #1: Yeah that’s the same tone that Caleb linked. I’m sorry to say but I don’t think you’ll be able to find it publicly available anywhere.
hilo2 #2: Yeah that’s what I thought.
Alarms and locks: Yeah, another system with that tone (unusual how it uses System Sensor signals though).
Yeah I thought that was weird too
Has Edwards hired a new actor for their messages heard in this video? I’ve heard the very same actor in other videos:
Yeah they probably did. I also noticed that the integrity voice evac tone sounded different
They still use the ones featuring “Edwards/EST Guy” as I like to call him, I’m honestly not sure of the story behind the messages in those particular videos or whether they still employ the former though.
That’s the way the tone audio was encoded in the videos. It’s always been same to me.
I guess no more “cease operations” / classic messages. (until EST actually rids of it someday)
Read my last post: going by what I’ve seen they haven’t stopped using the messages that are voiced by “Edwards/EST Guy” (why would they? They’re good messages, not that specific other than “an emergency has been reported in the building”, but they’re still pretty good).
I think the messages in the videos you provided are older est messages I might be wrong though.
The panel in the hotel relocation video might be an EST2 due to the slow whoop heard in it.
The 14 EST male messages with “Edwards/EST Guy” have creation dates of December 5, 1996.
It’s not known on whether someone already has these rare messages as raw files yet. I do wish there were.
Not anymore!
I got an EST Slow Whoop sound from Roblox and shifted the pitch to make it sound like the EST2 Slow Whoop
Original:

My version:
EST2 Slow Whoop (custom made).wav - Google Drive
Good job! Never realized that the two are basically identical aside from pitch & speed.
I would like to mention in this thread that the EST2 slow whoop is also occasionally used on the EST3/EST4 but is mostly used on the EST2.
