A couple of days ago at my current school, during 3rd period, the fire alarms started going off (SpectrAlert Advances and L-Series). A short while after, the principal came over the intercom saying “THIS IS NOT A DRILL, EVACUATE NOW BY THE NEAREST EXIT”. After waiting outside for a little bit, the fire department showed up, and went inside. after around 20 minutes, they determined it was a false alarm, and tried to silence and reset it. After they reset the system, it went right back into alarm, because the FSP-851 that had activated the system was faulty. They took down the detector, and reset the system. They then cleared us to go back inside, and the system was still not reset. The fire alarm company came today, and replaced the FSP-851 with a new FSP-951. they then reset the system
