Hey folks,
Got a customer that has 5 buildings. They do not need panels in these buildings, but they do need SLC. They have a Fire-Lite ES-200X. I know they had some fiber networking devices back in the 9050 days, but can’t see them anymore, but even those were for networking panels together, and I really just need something that will handle SLC. Is there anything that can tackle that? 3rd party even?

I think what you’re thinking of was Fire-Lite’s ‘Lite-Connect’ which still required each building to be networked to each panel, and had a 9050UD acting as the central station for the sub panels.
Trying to utilize a single ES-200X to manage 5 buildings doesn’t make sense in my opinion. Fiber is often used for networking of multiple panels, but I don’t recall ever seeing anything that converts SLC to Fiber then back to SLC. Almost certainly wont’ see something 3rd party either.
Depending on your AHJ’s requirements, you could either utilize conduit underground to get SLC run to each building, or you need to put a panel in each building. Regarding Lite-Connect, however, I don’t see the ES-200X or ES-50X listed as an option for Lite-Connect. If that’s truly what you need, you may need to confirm with Honeywell what can be used to accomplish this.
