FIre Alarm Panel Zones

I’m working on a project, 3 story building w/ basement.

An existing Fire-Lite MS-4 FACP is programmed for 4 fire zones, (basement, 1st, 2n’d, 3’rd floors)

A new sprinkler system is being added to the building. So my thought is that this existing FACP needs to be replaced with a new FACP which has more zones, to allow for supervisory circuits for the sprinkler system etc.

Is that correct or is there a better way to do it?

Yeah: one of Fire-Lite’s bigger panels like the MS-5UD or MS-10UD might work for your application: they have 5 & 10 zones respectively.
