I was with my parents going into customer service where the annunciator is located, there was trouble and a advisory on the display! And it’s been like that for a long time
At least it’s on. my local ihop’s fire panel is off. no AC, no battery, nothing. additionally, it was seen with over 10 troubles before it was shut off.
All of the Wal-Marts neer me have perfect working Bosch systems. It’s the opposite for some Meijers around me. There’s one with what appears to be a Notifier NFS-640 and its been in trouble for as long as I can remember.
At the place were I wrok there was a trouble on the annuncator for the majority of the time I have been there it has since been cleared after they tested the system while I was working but it hase been there for years before I worked there
last time I went into a walmart the panel was in alarm but silenced and it had 7 troubles
Were the strobes on the NAs flashig? They should still flash when in alarm. If not the system really needs to be repaired.
Unless, of course, the devices are 2-wire.
If the devices are 2 wire, the horn strobes should know when the system is in silence if there’s less power to the devices where the strobes can still flash but not make sound. Therefore should have enough power to flash the strobes on it.
Actually… this type of operation (audible silence) is against code nowadays.
Therefore 2 wire devices are ideal to have and systems shouldn’t have the audible silence function (reset the system to silence alarms)
The strobes where still flashing (I sent a complaint to my city)
Not if they are wheelock 7002ts.
