Hi I am working on a demo system for my house and I was wondering what fire alarm wire I need (without breaking the bank)
It is a adressable speaker strobe system
Ideally you would use 18-2 FPL for the SLC loop, 16-2 or 14-2 FPL for the strobe circuits and 16-2 shielded FPL for the speaker circuits. Some systems may specify shielded for the SLC loop too. Are you planning on installing the system throughout your home or just on a demo board? What part of the country are you in?

Texas, the system will be contained into my bedroom, closet, and attic.
Any idea how much wire you may need? I’ll check the cost of shipping and send you some if it’s reasonable.
70-100ft would be good
