Its fixed. Yes its fixed 20 letter max

It wasn’t the entire garage that burned down, just part of it. I believe the parking garage I did see was not the one that burnt down. I apologize if I misled anyone.

Good job finding those Amseco devices! They’re another brand that’s rare to see out in the field!

Side notes:
How do you know the SL24W is such if it looks like it has a horn grille? (& thus looks like it’s another SH24W)
Is that SH24W seriously mounted so low that that clipboard is hung just below it? (or maybe the other way around)
I actually just noticed that ceiling-mount Amseco horn/strobes (& possibly speaker/strobes too) appear to have a not-fully-symmetrical grille pattern all the way around after all: you can notice an “extension” of it near the top-left side of the strobe on that particular one.

I’m just assuming it was a remote strobe.

Yeah, they definitely aren’t common. I’ve only seen them at a few restaurants, a couple stores, and one funeral home.

Ive seen some mircom devices at a office buding in niagara falls ny, sadly its gone though, i have some more pictures of a fx-250 system with a evax voice panel.

Just to let you know: I don’t think you let the photos you posted there upload for long enough as they still say they’re doing such.

oh, ok, im still new to this forum

Quite a neat system, especially given it has Amseco notification appliances & Mircom everything else! (which is definitely not what one usually sees with Mircom systems)

Megapost time… again.

This is similar to a college near me, where all of the systems are either Simplex or Siemens.

Except I found the daughter of all rare panels, the Simplex 2001-8001.

Well, unless one counts the Firecom 8000 & 8500 of course (among potentially others that we may not even know the names of yet).

Let’s not say that around @simplex_4903-9238, it’s his second to worst nightmare.

lol rip DSC system. It has reached its fate. Also interesting detectors.

Yeah, definitely. I’m pretty sure one of the buildings used to have a 2001 (or maybe an even older Simplex panel), but that is now long gone and was replaced by a Siemens FC922 system around 10 years ago. Some of the old horns do still remain, however.

There is also still one building on the campus that I believe is now privately owned by an art studio that has a 50’s or 60’s Simplex system still in service.
