Fire inspection software platforms for multi-service companies

My company is looking at transitioning software platforms - I am curious who has experience and thoughts using Ember and/or Uptick. We’re a multiservice company (alarms, sprinkler, backflow, extinguishers, hood). We’ve used Service Trade for many years but it doesn’t have all the streamlined things that we’d like. Let me know with any first hand observations about user experience, both from field and office perspectives!

We ran a similar eval last year — multiservice is where generic FSM tools feel “almost there” and inspection-specific tools feel narrow.

What ended up mattering for our shortlist (field + office):

1. Deficiency doesn’t die in email — fail on site → customer notice + internal task on the same record (extinguisher + alarm tags).

2. Annual repeat without re-keying — copy last year’s line items per device/site, edit deltas only.

3. Offline that survives parking-garage LTE — not “upload failed, start over.”

4. Customer PDF that looks professional without an hour in Word after the route.

5. Pricing that doesn’t punish tech #6 — per-seat adds up fast on 8–12 person shops.

Ember/Uptick both get mentioned for multi-standard; ServiceTrade wins on breadth but the inspection write-up + deficiency handoff is still where we heard the most grumbling.

Curious which of those five your team would rank #1 if you could only fix one in the next platform.
