What’s the difference between the silent knight ifp 75 and the Fahrenheit ifp 75
There really isn’t one. Both are used with Silent Knight/System Sensor or Hochiki devices. It’s just branding on the panel that changes. You can read about compatible sensors on the Honeywell website: Farenhyt Series Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel | Fire Alarm Control Panels | Fire Control Panels | Controllers & Control Panels | Fire Alarm Control Panels | Honeywell Building Solutions
Is Fahrenheit not essentially the more proprietary equivalent of Silent Knight? (at least from what I believe I’ve read)
There isnt much difference. the only difference is who can work and get hands on the systems. The SK IFP-75 is more open programming wise compared to the Fahrenheit counterpart
Yes. Only honeywell dealers can get the hands on the software
Ah, thought so from what I’ve read. I also just realized that it’s actually spelled “Farenhyt” (somehow forgot this).
