That’s some severe sun bleaching. Although to be fair I think it gives it some character.

Not really sure what the difference between the 2098-9647 and the 2908-9636 would be other than the -9647 might be the same detector head used in the 2098-9648 duct detector (which I also have).
The -9647 also came with a spare NIB 2908-9637 mounting bracket. Guess I gotta get another detector head for it.

I don’t think they’re that rare (well, maybe for a decent price). I’d try to hunt down the Simplex rebrand, but those tend to be quite expensive.
Never seen that one before either. Great find! Especially one with a heat sensor like a Sears.
They’re rare tho. I don’t see why I wouldn’t be buying them, especially when trying to make sure they get into the right hands.
But I also don’t have room for these. They’re quite large compared to almost everything else I own.
You could give some away then, free or not, TAFATP has people with the room. Unfortunately I don’t tho.
