Firecom F900-943 and Monaco Enterprises SP-1

Some new pull stations I got today. Pretty sure that both of these are rare. The Firecom is actually addressable, so now I need to find a addressable Firecom panel (which is probably never going to happen). The Monaco pull is actually quite crap, because you can push the handle back up after you pull it (this doesn’t reset it, but someone could pull it for a false alarm and push the handle back up, disguising their crime)

Edit: The Monaco, despite being from 2012 (according to the date code), is non-polarized. I’d think that a modern pull would be, but I guess Monaco doesn’t care. Also, if you get one of the Firecom pulls without a key, they use Silent Knight keys.

The Firecom pull uses Apollo’s XP95 protocol, particularly the American variant. Since Apollo does not check for OEM, any panel that runs it (with the possible exception of Gamewell panels) will be able to use it.

As for the Monaco pull, if it’s conventional then polarity does not matter

Nice acquisitions!

RSG is the original maker of the SP-series, & funnily enough their RMS-series has the same design flaw (only if the handle is very slowly & carefully pulled down though).

No idea why a pull station of all things would be polarized (I can understand addressable ones being polarized though since obviously their addressable module needs proper polarity for power), since conventional ones are nothing more than a switch.

Well that’s convenient: glad Apollo’s not proprietary like that (unlike some manufacturers).
