Hello.
I recently obtained a FireLite 5012 fire alarm panel/communicator. Upon startup, it constantly beeps and displays this character (see image).
I’ve tried power cycling the panel to no avail. I inspected the board and saw no signs of a blown or damaged part. The panel briefly behaves normally for a couple of seconds before it starts the beeping and flashing the character again endlessly. I can’t find any information on the code shown in the LCD, so I wonder if there’s some CPU fault or something. Any ideas would be appreciated. Note, the AC power light does work, it just shuts off whenever that character is displayed.
