Nice! Nothing like an EST system! (the one RSS is odd though)

Reminds me of the EST system present at RFK Racing in Concord, North Carolina, which I first saw upon my first visit there at least over a decade ago & was still there some years back when I visited it again! (it only has Genesises with no “FIRE” lettering though, which also implies they’re 1st-generation Genesises that make a different sound)

It looks like it was installed in the early 2000s. Although it kinda looks like one of those federal facilities.

It’s probably the G1R-HDVM, the newer horn strobe with no lettering.

I’m not sure when the 2nd-generation Genesis models with the bell-style sound were introduced, but as far as I know 1st-generation Genesises did not have “FIRE” lettering as an option. RFK Racing’s shop was also built around 2001 or so, which I believe would have been only a year after the Genesis-series was introduced & so would mean they have the 1st-generation sound.

That would make sense. The base was built in 2003

It is a possibility. The source I found on it has it being manufactured in 2006, and that is too late. They could have swapped what they had when they added on to the base in 2009.

I’m pretty sure the genesis is from 2004.

According to the Wayback Machine the earliest the page for the Genesis appeared on the old est.net website is 2000 (I believe I’ve also seen other people say that 2000 was the year of introduction for the Genesis): Resources - Feature of the Month - Genesis Series Horn Strobes (archive.org)
