Four siren activations in one week, and several Tornado emergencies!

Yesterday, (6/27/25) my town had three siren activations. As some of you man know, I live in North Dakota, which has been seeing a lot of storms and tornadoes recently. Yesterday morning at 9:30 AM was my area’s monthly siren test, so they did that. Then, they were activated a couple of times during the evening for tornado warnings. The sirens were actually activated four times in one week, as there was a tornado warning in my area last week Friday too.

It’s a very good thing the sirens went off, as many people are reporting that they didn’t get any alerts on their phones.

The sirens can be heard in this video from Friday (6/27/25) night: 132K views · 1.3K reactions | North Bismarck Tornado | Eerie video of the ACTIVE tornado in north Bismarck. Taken by Jaden Russell. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER IN BISMARCK! | By KX News Chief Meteorologist Kenny Miller | Facebook

Here is my town’s siren system: What Sirens does your city Have? - #35 by aerhardt

The neighboring city which is on the same siren system has 27 FS 2001 sirens ranging from 3rd gen 2001-SRNs to modern 2001-130s (the newest two being 2001-130-ACs for some reason).

Did you capture the TOR-Es?

No, I didn’t. Luckily and unluckily at the same time, I was out of town when that was happening.
