Gent (UK fire alarm manufacturer) first released their Vigilon addressable fire alarm panel in 1997, called the Gent System 34000 aka Vigilon by Gent

In world war 2, Siemens took workers from nazi concentration camps to work in their factories. this was revealed in a legal issue in the '70s.

Siemens is headquartered in Berlin Germany and I believe has had more lawsuits filed against them than the other existing fire protection companies.

actually, they indirectly did. working conditions were poor, so a lot of them died on the job.
