Did anyone else used to think, like I did, that you had to spin the “hook” of the Gamewell Century around the circular pad to activate the pull station (like an old rotary phone) instead of pulling down on the circular pad?

I’ve never personally seen any pull station that requires the user to turn it to activate, most people would notice the big PULL text anyways. Though I totally see what you are getting at and in a certain way the design kinda suggests that since it is a little circle knob.
No. It clearly states " PULL"
I probably should have mentioned I was like 6 years old and had no clue about FAs when I first saw one of these, lol.
Yes that makes a big difference - in that case I am surprised you didnt pull it ! Lol
