Gamewell/FCI 7100 Panel Upgrade

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some input from anyone with experience on Gamewell/FCI systems.

Project background:
The existing system consists of an E3-series FACP networked with two (2) 7100 FACPs, INX audio panels, and an INCC command center. All nodes are currently networked together, and the building is served by a voice evacuation system.

We are planning to upgrade the three (3) existing FACPs to the S3 platform.

Questions:

  1. Can the S3 panels be networked directly with the INX and INCC panels, or does an E3 panel need to remain on the network to maintain compatibility with the voice system?

  2. Does the system operate in a peer-to-peer configuration, or is there a master panel on the network?

  3. If one S3 panel goes into alarm, will the other S3 panels on the network also activate their notification appliances?

  4. Is this a typical retrofit approach for systems configured like this?
