Hi Guys
Is this panel compatable with any honeywell group addressable device?
(notifier,firelite,silentknight) ?
thanks
Howdy!
This panel is one of the rare ones that doesn’t actually check whether the addressable device is the matching FCI brand, so if you have, say, a Notifier NBG-12LX and a Fire-Lite SD-335A along with your standard FCI MS-7 and ASD-PL2F (pull stations and smoke detectors respectively), they should all work fine on the 7100. That’s actually one of the reasons I want that panel so bad.
What devices did you have in mind that you wanted to use with this panel?
Whats the dimensions of the panel and how much does it weigh ?
Gamewell-FCI | Honeywell Building Technologies According to the datasheet…
14.09” W x 20.1” H x 4.55” D, and I figure about 5lbs for the can and board.
It weighs quite a bit more than 5lbs with the transformer. I would estimate somewhere around 30lbs.
Also, there are actually two different cabinet sizes. The 7100-CAB (slim) is 14.09” W x 20.1” H x 4.55” D and the 1100-0481 (E3 network) is 19 3/8” H x 19 3/8” W x 4” D. The slim flush-mount cabinet is more common.
can we confirm the weight for the one with the plastic door
I don’t believe a plastic door for a 7100 was ever made, as the front keypad could be accessed without actually opening the cabinet. The E3 cabinet might have a Plexiglas door but even then I don’t see it being heavier than thirty to forty pounds. Why do you ask?
Found a 7100 on ebay
but was trying to work out how much it would cost to ship
but i ended up buying just the pcb and psu for $100
Hey Guys i was looking in the manual for the panel and it seems that it is dual voltage 120/240vac if you cut a jumper on the PCB so i just wondered if anybody can confirm this.
Also what type of power does the nac’s output
(Filtered or Full-Wave Rectified power)
thanks
This ought to be merged with your earlier topic with the same name…
I believe the 7100 accepts 120VAC by default. Do you live in a region where outlets output 240VAC? If not, then don’t worry about it. To answer your second question, the 7100 outputs Filtered DC.
yes i do live in a region with 240v but i also own a 10a stepdown for 120v
The 7100 will accept both, DEPENDING ON THE MODEL. I emphasize this because if you hook up your 240 to a 120 model, it will be dead.
If you ever need any help with your panel, let me know.
