So today I was at an antique store and found this Gamewell box. Given that I love alarms, I had to buy it.
When I got home, I pulled the part that says “Pull Down” on it and all the gears seem to work as intended to. There is a bell attached, but it did not ring (as intended also); as it is not hooked up to power.
However, I have a lot of questions about this box (so just bear with me here…)
[list=]
How much volts (and power) does it require?
How do I access the electrical connections (if not already)?
What does this thing do (See the thing below the glass dome?
What is its purpose? How do I hook alarms up do it (and make the bell inside ring)?
What does the ARRESTOLARM do and what is it?
What’s the type and/or model number of it? It says "Three-Fold Alarm Box on the inside but I’m not quite sure what that means.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. It is really appreciated.
Also- I do realize the inside is a bit dirty; I’ll get around to cleaning it up later.
Also I realize (after typing all this) that I can’t post images onto here from my iPhone. I’m sure there’s a way but I’ll see if I can upload these to my Mac and then edit the post later and attach all the photos. I realize that lots of these questions can’t be answered without these, so I’ll see what I can do.
I found a wiring diagram for this and the model. It is the interior box of a three fold box, most likely being a Masterbox. Any additional help about wiring would be appreciated, however. I should have done Internet research in advance and do apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused.
I will not be posting pictures as of now because I do not know how to, especially from my phone. If anyone has more info on how to upload pictures or a link on this forum that explains it, I’d appreciate it. I’m new to this board, so I don’t know how everything works.
Thank you. I have more knowledge on the box now, thanks to lots of Internet research. Can I ask a moderator to please lock or delete this topic as it’s no longer necessary? I’ll try to post pictures in the collection area soon.
The mods usually don’t lock topics in case the OP (you in this case) needs help in the future, unless someone bumps it with useless content. Although, this policy may have changed.
The photo uploading/attachment function is currently not working. For now, upload your photos to a hosting site like Photobucket or Flickr, then paste in the URL using the “Img” function, located at the top of the text box, when you go to post. Or, you could simply post the link to your photos.
