I am hopeful that Federal Signal gets their act together and they stop making crappy quality sirens
(They started going downhill as soon as the 2001-SRN came out)

I wouldn’t say that ASC makes crappy sirens. They manufacture them in my hometown and though they may sometimes malfunction, they are still high quality sirens. Many of the sirens they made before they switched to ASC when they were ACA are still up from the 80s and 90s. Technology is bound to fail at some point, it’s not perfect. You should look for the volume as in number of siren malfunctions, not just one video showing a p-50 chopper explode after 44 years of service. I think the sirens made by ASC are more durable, reliable, and effective than other companies.
ASC is okay, ATI needs to be erased
I am going to ask you guys to disregard my statement on ASC, it turns out the counties around me that have ASC are barely maintaining their sirens.
I think most people can agree with that. With San Fransisco’s Siren System Upgrade they have been working on since 2021, (Which I wonder if they are done or not), I hope they get rid of the ATIs they have been using. And I hope Whiteman AFB replaces their 2 ATIs with Whelen sirens to match the eastern side of the base.
