I remember being in a rare convention event in a high rise but pretty spacious hotel building and while I was in one of the bathrooms a EST ceiling speaker strobe started playing the classic Simplex message and then I bolted out of there running down a mansion type staircase many times and had to run to another part because its design wasn’t consistent with how the stairs were designed. Eventually I found one of the exterior doors and ran out to the sidewalk where the fire department showed up a minute later.
